Join us at the Detroit Athletic Club on 18 October for a great networking and professional development opportunity. We are excited to welcome this year’s guest speaker, Mr. David J. Albritton, Executive Director Global Product Development Communications, General Motors Company, based in Detroit, MI. Early in his career, Albritton sent 10 years as an officer in the U.S. Navy, which included service aboard the USS Portland (LSD 37) during Desert Shield/Desert Storm. He also served in the Pentagon as an official Navy Spokesman on the Navy News Desk and as the Flag Lieutenant / Aide for the U.S. Navy’s Chief of Information, a two-star admiral. Albritton holds a B.S. degree from the U.S. Naval Academy as well as a M.S. in Management from the Naval Postgraduate School.
Lieutenant General Patricia E. McQuistion, US Army Retired, joined the staff of the Association of the United States Army, where she serves as vice president of membership & meetings, after completing 35 years of uniformed service in a variety of positions primarily in logistics and supply chain solutions. She finished her Army career as the deputy commanding general for the Army Materiel Command and senior commander of Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. As a general officer, she commanded the U.S. Army Sustainment Command, headquartered at Rock Island, Illinois, the 21st Theater Sustainment Command for U.S. Army-Europe and Seventh Army in Kaiserslautern, Germany, and the Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime Supply Chains in Columbus, Ohio. She has served in numerous command and staff assignments in Hawaii, Germany, Virginia, Kansas, Texas, Egypt, Pennsylvania, and Kuwait, (plus three tours at the Pentagon). She is a lifetime member of AUSA. LTG (Ret) Patricia E. McQuistion, Vice President for Membership and Meetings at AUSA in Arlington, VA, will be joining us as well, representing GEN Carter Ham. She will install CSM (Ret) Doug Gibbens as the Second Region President. CSM (Ret) Doug Gibbens will then install the new Arsenal of Democracy Chapter Executive Committee board of directors.
Also joining us will be recent Medal of Honor awardee LTC(Ret) Charle Kettles of Ypsilanti, MI.
